This rare find was manufactured in the 1930's by a German jewelry company, Schreiber & Hiller. The 24 curved silver links of channel set rhinestones form beautifully around the neck.
It is marked “DRGM 1138525" on the back of the first link. "DRGM" is an abbreviation for the German term for patent. The number "1138525" references a German utility patent for the metal links, registered to Schreiber & Hiller.
The necklace measures approximately 16" long. The links drop 7/8".
This beauty is well-constructed and in excellent vintage condition for it's 90+ years of age! Pieces with these markings are also increasingly hard to come by.
